One click on dorm mom Instagram and suddenly you're convinced you need 47 organizers, six charging stations, and a gadget for everything.

My approach was different with my daughter, Caroline. I shopped her dorm the same way I approach every design project: thoughtful, practical and let's be real, real life in mind.

Every piece we chose earned its place—from the headboard pillow that travels easier than a bulky headboard to the washable rug, storage ottoman, and bedding that will actually get used.

A myth to hiring a design-build team like Cloth & Nail is that you’re hiring out every part of your project. For some people, that sounds like a relief, but for others, that sounds like a sure way to take the *you* out of your home. Rest assured! We love to take the reins as often as you need us to, but our favorite part of every project is collabing with our clients.
