People often hesitate to hire an interior designer because it feels like it’s just one more expense on top of the expense of the work needing done, but it’s a cost well spent. What isn’t, though, is making the wrong choice, regretting it later, and paying again to have it done the right way.

Just because it’s trending doesn’t mean you have to like it. This is one of the trickiest things about interior design trends. When we see a style plastered all over our social feeds and it seems like everyone is cooing over it, we feel like we’re supposed to love it too. But you can agree that something looks nice while also accepting that it’s not for you. That’s simultaneously one of the cooler things about trends - they put our vastly different and wildly unique interests on display. Because how boring would it be if all of our homes looked the same?

Your baby’s bedroom is another part of YOUR home, so it should reflect your taste. Don’t feel like you need to be boxed into the idea that a soft and delicate baby must equal a soft and delicate room design.
