Innovative Design Meets Engineering Challenges-
The 293 Boston Post Road Spec Lab project is a testament to adaptive reuse, converting a traditional suburban office building suite into an innovative laboratory space. Located on the second floor of a five-story building, this project presented unique challenges in providing the necessary mechanical infrastructure. The design strategically placed lab spaces along the windows, creating a bright and inspiring work environment, while large windows along the corridor allow views into the labs and beyond to the panoramic outside view.

The Charles River Mills Spec Lab in Newton, MA, showcases a seamless blend of historical charm and high tech laboratory design. This lab conversion project, set within a brick-and-beam building dating back to 1900, offers a unique environment for a single office and lab user. With its high ceilings, expansive windows, and exposed brick and beams in the office area, the space provides an inspiring work atmosphere, while the lab area maintains a clean, functional environment.

A local business takes root in Natick Center!
Bloom & Grow Creative looked to Ebbrell Architecture + Design to help them design their first play space in Natick Center. Born out of the pandemic, small business owners and entrepreneurs created a business selling craft kits supplemented by drop-in crafting events at a local co-op. When the opportunity for a proprietary location came up, Bloom & Grow Creative jumped on it. Their vision for a creative play space with facilities for crafting and imaginary play came to fruition through careful programming and planning resulting in a whimsical, inviting space for kids and grown-ups alike.

See how Ebbrell Architecture + Design transformed repeat client Festo Corporation's vision into reality with their relocation project. Central labs and two work hubs facilitate seamless workflow dynamics, prioritizing productivity and innovation. Through close collaboration with the engineering team and general contractor, the project requirements from precise electrical, mechanical, and plumbing needs to the integration of existing furniture, ensures a harmonious fusion of testing labs, office zones, support space and a versatile training/multi-purpose area. The result? A tech-supported workspace that fosters collaboration and efficiency while seamlessly integrating elements from Festo's previous headquarters, which was originally fit out by Ebbrell in 2018.
