This was the last project that I completed before my Bone Marrow Transplant, a solid timber Sanctuary Cross and Pulpit for Country Side Bible Church in Southlake. It is one of my pride and joy projects. For the past 4 months my production has been a big fat zero due to my BMT recovery and then I had to have hernia surgery that took me out for 6 weeks. So this morning I’m heading out to my shop and firing up the heater as the time has come for me to Shine again, it’s time to let my imagination flow freely along with my creative mind. I have a few projects to start on, a barn door for my bathroom along with a few crosses which I never get tired of crafting. Not sure if this will be my main focus for the rest of my life but it is a natural way for me to get up and running again, He has Blessed me with a Wonderful set of Talents and Abilities and I feel so fortunate for that. When my Doctor told me a couple of weeks ago that I had grafted 100% with my donor and that I was Cancer Free he made the comment that it would hopefully give me another 40 years of life. For me I only need another 38 as that will get me to 100 which has been one of my goals all along, to become a Centurion. They say that on transfusion day that it is considered your second Birthday which was over 100 days ago, so for me today I consider it the beginning of my second life of sorts. As I said it’s time for me to Shine again as He has prepared me for this day, I’m Ready!
Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding,in all of you ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight! Proverbs 3:5-6
