✨AFTER ➡️ BEFORE✨

Want to see some bathroom transformations?! Here are the 3 I just completed last month in Big Sky, with the after photos first then the before photos. You’ll see the update on these bathrooms was a must for this condo overhaul!

I was thrilled they let me have fun with custom wallpaper in the hall bath, gorgeous stone-looking porcelain in cream and soft blue for both walk-in showers, smooth pebble shower floors, beautiful new glass doors, and of course brand new quartzite countertops for that unmatched elevated look. I’m in love with how they turned out, and so are my clients! 😍💫

✨Final Reveal✨

It’s a Christmas Miracle ~ the Snowcrest Condo project is complete! 💫

With the (VERY) delayed custom couch pushing this reveal all the way to Christmas Day, it was absolutely worth the wait! I’m so proud of this project and the meticulous work my clients, my amazing trades, and of course myself 😌did to make this special 40 year old ski condo refresh dream a reality. 🏔️🛋️

It feels so much lighter, brighter and still cabin cozy - just as we set out to do✨ Working within the parameters of the resort property management and my clients strict preferences, I was able to layer in the authenticity with local art, curated textiles, wall treatments, cohesive finishes, and of course good lighting. With such a closely collaborative process done from across the country (my clients are in Long Island!), I’d say we made quite the dream team working together🙌 And as I told them from the beginning that I’d make it happen, and bet your ass I did🫰☺️💪

I learned SO much being not only the interior designer, but the GC on my first full service project. And being on the 3rd floor of an old commercial building in the middle of the plaza at a ski resort no less! 😳🤦‍♀️ Turns out all that logistic management experience I have from my event days came in very handy on this one🧰🛠️🏋🏼‍♀️😎 And leaning on my trades for their professional help along the way was worth its weight in gold. I got so lucky with the team I had working behind me and definitely have a solid network to call on for future projects🙏🏻✨

Now I can’t wait to reveal it to my clients IN PERSON next month! 🤩 Hard to wait, but the snow comes first of course 🌨️🎿 The whole reason they bought this place decades ago!

Now it’s time for a me to take a breather…to rest, reflect, and revise. 😌🕯️📝 An absolute must for me after every big project. And it just so happens to be Capricorn season, so…✨❄️🌙🙂‍↔️

Then on to 2026, the year of the Fire Horse🔥

From dream to reality, they pulled it off! 👏👏👏

A little over a year ago the Campbells hired me to help bring together a design plan for the remodel of their new Gooch Hill farm house here in Bozeman. They already had all their furniture and art (they were bringing from their Minnesota home), so I was tasked with helping them pick the perfect finish selections, tile, paint, lighting and a layout that functioned well for them. I have to say working backwards like this was a bit of a challenge, especially since all their items were in storage, but working closely with Kathy on what she wanted the home to feel like, as well as her preferred colors and style ~ I was able to get the vision on paper and a plan in place for her and her husband Wade to implement themselves. And boy did they knock it out of the park! My hat’s off to their hard work over the last year ~ the space looks just as we imagined!! What an incredible accomplishment. And just in time for the holidays 💃🎄✨

➡️ Last couple slides are from tonight ~ a full circle moment for me to see the finished project of something I worked on a year ago (which I often don’t get to see on these types of projects). They put together an open house to meet all their new neighbors, while also celebrating the completion of the year-long DIY renovation. Witnessing them host friends in their newly finished open and airy home, with their beautiful belongings unpacked and that incredible sunset on full display, was absolutely priceless😌 I truly LOVE helping people LOVE where they live💫 Thank you Kathy and Wade for having me be a part of making your new to you Montana house your forever home 🙏🏻🥹

Fall has arrived and It’s GO TIME at KNI🍂🙂‍↔️ Off-season officially started September 15th at Big Sky Ski Resort, and with my current renovation project being in the Snowcrest Lodge (where you get your lift tickets and rentals) - the clock is now ticking until they open again late November.🎿⏰

My amazing clients, the resort vacation management team, and myself are putting our 4 months of tedious preparation into action ~ moving full steam ahead right out of the gate with the immediate clear out of all furnishings and demoing ALL the bathrooms and kitchen tile/countertops. This condo is finally getting the love it’s been begging for, and I’m so blessed to be a part of it’s legacy💛🙏🏻✨ I’m truly having so much fun and learning a TON on my first full-service project. Lots of balls in the air to keep track of, from design details to trades, material selections to commercial codes ~ keeping it all moving and loving every minute of it💃🧠📋 I truly can’t WAIT to see all the magic unfold over the next 6 weeks!

Although I know many of you (as I have been around for a little while😌), I thought I’d take a moment to re-introduce myself with the launch of my new brand. . .

Hello, I’m Kelsey — founder and holistic interior designer at Kelsey Nicole Interiors✨ (Formally Cobalt Collective Interiors)

As a fourth-generation Montanan, I grew up surrounded by rivers and a breathtaking mountain landscape, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for natural beauty at an early age. This love and respect for nature runs deep in the way I create and curate beautifully supportive interiors.🌿

Home has always been more than just a place to me — it’s a feeling. It is that sense of connection to my environment that I am drawn to ~ a relationship I’ve studied and conversed with deeply throughout my life. 💛

The lure of art history, of which I received a Bachelors Degree, laid a foundation of aesthetic composition and color theory - not to mention an affinity for self-expression, story telling and personal identity. 🖼️🎨🖌️

Later a certificate in Residential Interior Design gave me the mechanics to translate this into interior dwelling curation. 👩🏼‍💻

Now, I help others design spaces that feel grounded, intentional, and deeply personal — places that support your well-being and the way you live.🏡
