The 2014 horse's fire is nourished by wood, making it active, firey, and even more energetic.

Horses are animated, active and energetic and those born in the year of the horse are quick to learn independence – foals can walk minutes after birth – and they have a straightforward and positive attitude towards life. They are known for their communication skills and are exceedingly witty.

Raymond Lo, feng shui consultant, says the year of the horse is a year in which people are likely to stand firm on their principles, making negotiation difficult. This is important as previous years of the wood horse have been marked by major world conflict. Let this be the year to overcome this negative aspect by focusing on straightforwardness and good communication :)
