Some journeys continue long after a piece leaves the studio.

Carefully prepared, protected, and sent into a new space.

Joyful Garden now lives in a private collection in Canada.

So grateful to know this piece has found such a loving home!

Mamá and her kids ❤️

We don’t really get time like this in normal life, so having a whole week together felt different in a simple way. No schedules, no rush, no distractions. We woke up, had 🧉mate, and let the day unfold naturally.

We talked about a lot of things, remembering old memories and stories we don’t always bring up in everyday life.

We laughed a lot, and shared moments of silence (as much as you can call it silence in Brazil 😄), just being there together, no rush, no agenda.

It reminds us that there is something deeper that connects us, something that comes before everything else. And maybe that’s why it felt so natural, and even necessary, to have this time together…to reconnect, and see each other differently now, with more understanding of who we’ve become over time.

It was exactly what we all needed.

What a gift it is to come together, share these moments, and keep creating memories side by side. Celebrating this special day together with my brother, honoring the woman who gave us so much, makes it even more meaningful.

Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who gave us strong roots, beautiful memories, and who deserves to be celebrated today and always.

And on this special day, I also celebrate the blessing of being a mother and the endless love that, even across the distance, is always felt close to my heart ❤️

I made this piece at the beginning of my journey.

I remember loving it … the movement, the colors, the energy.
It already felt like me.

But I didn’t yet understand how to work with those materials… or how important the foundation is.
So I tried to fix it. Different background. Different framing.
Trying to make it “better.”

I think life can feel like that too.
Sometimes we already are something beautiful, but we don’t yet have the structure to hold it.

And little by little,…it starts losing its essence.
Until one day.. you realize you can’t save it.

This piece didn’t survive.

But the lesson did.

Creating one of my female figures.

In each one, there is something of me… strength, freedom, spirit, and quiet resilience.

Because women are always becoming.

Diciembre, Valle de Bravo, México.
Gran Stupa para la Paz Mundial.

Estos días, al ver la caminata por la paz que llegó a Washington, volví a ese momento. Recordé que todo gran recorrido comienza en silencio…hacia adentro.

This piece is coming to life as a very special custom commission.
Michelle and her husband fell in love with the Dandelions series and wanted a work created exclusively for them …one that holds the essence of the series, yet feels deeply personal.

This is just part of the journey…
The piece is still unfolding
