A little change of scale.

These small ocean pieces offered a different way of working with color, texture, and movement.

Paint, beads, and tiny details…. Each one holding its own little scene, its own rhythm: a wave, a shoreline, a glimpse beneath the water.

A smaller scale, but still very much part of my work.

I thought I’d step out from behind the artwork for a moment.

Maybe the best way to tell you a little about myself is through the way I create.

I can spend hours completely absorbed in the smallest details. Thousands of beads, one tiny area at a time.., and I never get tired of watching something slowly emerge from them.

But I also need change... I’m rarely working on just one piece. I’ll move from one to another because sometimes I need a different color, a different idea, a different energy. I don’t like creating from a place of obligation. If something starts to feel like routine…, I move to something else and come back when I feel drawn to it again.

Funny enough, the meticulous part has always been there. I remember being in school and loving those drawing exercises made with tiny dots or line after line. I could stay with them forever. Looking back now, that makes me smile 😊

I think my work gives me exactly what I need: the concentration to completely lose myself in the details…,and the freedom to keep discovering✨

For this piece, I wanted to explore the idea of expansion while keeping the palette very restrained.

I began at the center, working outward through whites, ivory, champagne and touches of gold…, letting subtle changes in tone, texture and light create the movement.

This is where “Radiance” began.

There are times when something looks almost right, but deep down…you know it isn’t.

You can leave it. It works. It’s good enough.

But the moment you decide to let it go… something shifts.
The extra work doesn’t matter anymore. What matters is knowing it can be better.

Sometimes, starting over is how you move forward.

I made this piece at the beginning of my journey.

I remember loving it … the movement, the colors, the energy.
It already felt like me.

But I didn’t yet understand how to work with those materials… or how important the foundation is.
So I tried to fix it. Different background. Different framing.
Trying to make it “better.”

I think life can feel like that too.
Sometimes we already are something beautiful,but we don’t yet have the structure to hold it.

And little by little,…it starts losing its essence.
Until one day.. you realize you can’t save it.

This piece didn’t survive.

But the lesson did.
