My perfectionism is getting the best of me right now, but this was the best reminder to take a step back and realize it’s just a bag. The five-year-old mini farm hand wanted to help the other day and at the time, I didn’t have anything that a five-year-old could assist with (although we do allow them to assist with tasks that are above their skill level frequently.) She asked if she could stamp the bags, and I reluctantly agreed, knowing that she had never used a stamp before.

At the end of the day, no one is keeping this bag as a precious keepsake with their purchase, but she’ll remember that she was included and I’ll remember having my daughter right beside me in this side hustle of ours.

When we say we use local beeswax, we mean LOCAL beeswax. A first (but hopefully not last) for us, melting down combs to make our own beeswax. I just think it’s the coolest process how our small business helps other small businesses in our process-how we’re all connected-like a beehive!
