Really great designs usually have really great stories behind them.....the same is true for our beautiful " Twiggin Out" lanterns! The inspiration came on a day that I was burning leaves and sticks, and feeling sorry for myself because I could not afford to go see my newest Grandson Elijah. As we often say, "something told me" to go read about the prophet Elijah, and the widow. After finding the s

tory in 1st kings, I also read the story of his protégé, Elisha and another widow in 2nd Kings. The stories had a common thread of how God miraculously provided for these distressed women and their children, with what little they had on hand. The first widow was gathering sticks, and the second widow was borrowing jars. I felt like God was asking me what I had to offer....... I had lots of sticks and could get lots of jars! From there, I just kept thinking "sticks and jars, sticks and jars......what does it mean, Lord?" A basic lantern idea was born which eventually lead to the design we offer you today!
