I had the opportunity to collaborate with Kirkland's in 2019 when they released the “Dolly Parton: From The Heart” collection which featured canvas wall art inspired by her song “Smoky Mountain Memories” by artist David Diskin.
I was thrilled to be gifted this beautiful canvas in smoky blues and pink that depicts her East Tennessee home. It makes me so happy (and sad) seeing this old post again and the pure kindness of Dolly’s response to me - a total stranger that just adored and appreciated her since my childhood. There’ll never be another.
