Morning knitting: accompanying photos for my Minute of Meditation video.
Continuing work on my new sample of the Shift Cowl by DreaReneeKnits for our Make-a-long October-December and our Retreat November 7-9! Both the MAL and Retreat focus on the whole series of Shift patterns, of which the Nightshift shawl is often the most well known.
I’ve made this pattern before with Feederbrook Entropy, that shifts like Spincycle, that Andrea used in her pattern, and two solids. This time I’m using Queensland Collection Perth, which has the same effect, and two other yarns that change colors in different ways, West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply and Lainesdunord - Made in Italy Harmonious Sock. I also worked with Liz to pick a color combo that looks like they shouldn’t be in the same room together, let along the same project- those are often the most beautiful when done.
