Million Dollar Italian Lasagna 🧀🍝
🛒 Ingredients:
12 lasagna noodles
1 lb ground beef
1 lb Italian sausage
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 egg
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
👩🍳 Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Prepare the noodles by cooking them according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the meat in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, sausage, and diced onion. Cook until browned. Drain any excess grease.
Add garlic and sauce to the meat. Stir in minced garlic and marinara sauce. Let it simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
Mix the creamy layer in a bowl. Combine ricotta, softened cream cheese, sour cream, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
Assemble the lasagna:
Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the dish.
Add a layer of noodles.
Spread some of the creamy mixture.
Sprinkle mozzarella on top.
Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with meat sauce and mozzarella.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
Rest and garnish. Let the lasagna sit for 10–15 minutes before slicing. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
