Anyone of my scrapbook friends want to go?
I've tried writing this post soooo many times and just can't find the perfect words, but here goes....PLEASE READ IT ALL...
We will be hosting our final Scrapbooking Event for SAVA on April 22-23, 2022 in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. We intend to make this a big hurrah as we bring our 19 years of fundraising to an end. 😔
For nearly two years we've had to cancel and postpone our events because of Covid-19 issues. The pandemic has changed the way of life for many people; us included. It made us realize just how much time we were investing in preparing for, organizing, and hosting the events. It has also made us realize that it was taking precious time away from being with our families. Our families are growing! The kids & grandkids are getting older and so are we. Their activities & sports events are resuming, and we want to be there for ALL of it.
This was such a HARD decision and one that we discussed over and over and over trying to find a balance, but in the end, we knew what we needed to do.
We're sad knowing that we won't be seeing you every 3 months and hearing all of the wonderful stories of so many lives. We have been blessed getting to know you, seeing your projects, and laughing with you. You've become our friends. ❤️
Hopefully most of you will be able to join us in April. (I'll be bringing the tissues 😭 ) The registration form will be up in the beginning of March but Mark Your Calendars NOW! 🙂
