So I always say I’m gonna be better and I never am 😞 about half way though this I thought I should be documenting the process, but it was too late. Figured I’d just get the end.
A coworker has recently bought a sewing machine and has gotten into quilting. He’s watched a bunch of videos and made a few quilt tops and the word has got out to family and friends. They sent him a giant box of real silk kimonos from Japan that have been sitting in an attic for years. These very simple pouches were made from the belt of one… is that what they’re called? Should have googled that… anyway… I copied a pouch he had and kicked them up a few notches. More fun to come!
