We all know it’s Mother’s Day week…and if you don’t, you should! It’s Mother’s Day week!

But you should also know that it’s Teachers Week! The people who educate our future, care for our kids, and put up with…well a lot. So make sure to celebrate them!

We have lots of fun plants, gifts, cards, and wine labels (Teachers have lives outside the classroom! Does anyone remember seeing one of your teachers out in public when you were younger and being soo confused? I do!) to show all the teachers some love and appreciation.

And remember, we deliver to all of the surrounding local schools!

As we head into Mother’s Day week, I want to share a few local businesses that would make great gifts to any Mom or Mom to be. Motherhood is a wild journey, and it’s true when they say it takes a village, these ladies have all been a part of my village.

Kaylee Pobocik: My husband surprised me with an appointment with Kaylee during my second trimester with my second baby, and it’s one of the best gifts he’s ever given me. Next week is Mother’s Day! We have cards for all the different Moms out there!

As a Mom, I have learned that this journey is one of life's biggest full circle moments. I talk with my Mom about the heart melting love I have for my kids, about the milestones we are going through, about the sleepless nights or the endless giggles, and she just nods. And it’s then that I realize she knows exactly what I am talking about. Because she was me.

Make sure to tell your Mom that you love her, and that you appreciate her. And do it ni a card so she can read it over and over again.

None of us would be here without the Moms.

We have a busy, busy week ahead with proms starting, lots of Mother's Day prep, and a some fun special days sprinkled in. To start, Wednesday is Administrative Professionals Day.

Take a moment to say thank you and appreciate the people who keep everything moving, make you look good, and manage all the little important things that no one else even knows exists. Y’all keep the offices open and on time, receipts organized so bookkeeping is a breeze, calendars streamlined so nothing falls through the cracks, and so so much more.

Thirsty Thursday! We water all of our plants here on Thursdays. We use this day to check on any new babies, make sure soil looks good, and clean foliage. Most plants do best with a routine schedule. This helps to prevent overwatering which may create pests while also ensuring the plants that love to stay hydrated get adequate water.

Plants are starting to wake up from their winter hibernation. So now may be a good time to think about freshening up your soil or changing your pot and we are happy to help!

Write It Out Wednesday (our new series!) - We had a lot of customers take up the art of sending greeting cards for their new year's resolution, and many of them have kept this resolution going and we love it! (Fun Fact: I wanted to own a stationary shop when I was young. If you’re a Concord native, I was obsessed with Caardvark!)

We are very proud of our cards here and always love bringing new ones in! We have an awesome selection of birthday, love, new baby, sympathy, and a ton of great everyday cards! With all the junk we get daily in the mail, why not add a little unexpected joy to someone’s mailbox!

In case you didn’t know, we sell flowers! We’ve been told (by one person over and over and over again) that our sign doesn’t have the word flowers on it…and that it's misleading. So here we are to tell you, WE SELL FLOWERS! Here are a few highlights of this week's stems.
