A little blurb about me 😊
At CQ GlassWorks, I believe creativity flourishes when it is shared. My studio, nestled on a 200-year-old dairy farm in Bristol, Vermont, is where my love of kiln-formed glass comes to life through handcrafted pieces, hands-on workshops, and a passion for teaching.
I am inspired by the Green Mountains, the changing seasons, and memories of my Scottish homeland. Every firing is a new adventure, and I never tire of the
excitement of lifting the kiln lid to discover the alchemy that awaits.
As I welcome visitors into my studio, I hope to inspire others to discover the joy of working with glass.
Through my involvement with the Vermont Crafts Council, I have experienced firsthand the value of a strong and supportive craft community. As a board member, I bring the perspective of both a working artist and an educator who understands the importance of mentorship, collaboration, and creating opportunities for emerging makers. I am
passionate about encouraging newcomers to participate in Open Studio Weekends, helping them build confidence, share their stories, and become part of Vermont’s vibrant
creative community. I look forward to welcoming you!
