I just finished this electric guitar body. It's made of Candlenut wood, which is a soft wood but has so much beautiful personality. This is burned and filled with resin on both sides so you can display whichever side you prefer. I suggest this as a decorative piece and not as an actual working guitar body due to its softness. This is my first electric guitar body and I think it may be the start of a beautiful relationship between me and wood instruments 🥰

It is time to retire old Mabel.... She was quite good to me and I learned from her and did amazing work!! Thousands of art projects and hundreds of benches!! I hope all that has purchased a creation created with the help of Mabel enjoys her work. She spotted her last hurray yesterday. I was lucky enough to find a new transformer to take over. I do not yet have a name for her, but I'm open to suggestions. Let me know what you suggest ☺️
