Here is today’s project. I have been thinking about how I wanted to do this since August and I finally put the plan to action today. I cut a submarine shape out of wood then made some mounts for the anchor chain pieces in the middle and the decommissioning placards on the ends. I have a brass plaque coming as well. I commissioned the San Juan many years ago. The anchor chain is off the ship and the placards are made from plexiglass from the battery well. Items presented to all who attended the decommissioning ceremony on August 6th. This project has a lot of sentimental value to me.

Here is an antique brass lever action r***e with maple burl wood. Pictures do not do these pens justice. They look way better in person. I didn’t think I would care for them, but they look amazing. And the lever action click is pretty cool also m

Made these last week. Only 1 is pictured but I made 2 for a friend. The blue titanium Amazing grace pen with olive wood from Bethlehem. These are beautiful pens.

I made this one this weekend for a friend. We got to know each other when he sold me a car. He wanted an old school Patriots logo. I pit this one on a blue and chrome Broadside pen.

Here is another special order from a VFW post member. He wanted this for his brother who retired from the army reserves and was a police officer. I put this one on a black and gold cigar pen.

I made this last weekend as a special order for my daughter. She wanted this for her boss who was a YNC in the Navy. I put it on a gold American Patriot pen. Another first pent kit for me. The top is made fro padauk.

Pen number 3 for the weekend. Leopard wood on a gun metal slim line pen kit. I love the figuration in this wood. I made my cane with it and now a pen to match. Beautiful piece.

This is a new kit for me. Where are my hunters and gun enthusiasts? This one is for you. Padauk wood on a matte blueberry action r***e pen kit. The lever is the click action for the pen. Definitely a unique pen.

I finished up this beauty yesterday. The cap is the Virginia Tech Hokie bird and the bottom is from Virginia Tech’s Miles Stadium. All done on a gin metal diamond knurl pen kit. I made this one for a client who was looking for a unique VA Tech pen.
