Our next Creative Gathering is here!

Introducing Quilted Home — A Barn Quilt Kinusaiga workshop featuring the classic Ohio Star.

Using fabric and the no-sew art of Kinusaiga, you’ll create your own framed 10” × 10” Ohio Star, choosing fabrics along the way to make your piece uniquely yours. No sewing skills or previous experience needed!

This workshop includes all materials and instruction, light bites, refreshments, and a signature seasonal drink.

And for those who joined us for our last Kinusaiga workshop, there’s a new Returning Guest option! Bring your 10” × 10” frame from your previous Lush Vine Designs workshop and register for $40 instead of $50.

✨ A little something I’ve been so excited to share! ✨

I’m so grateful to announce that Lush Vine Designs has been welcomed as a new vendor at The Country Gathering in Orange, VA! 🤍

I’m especially excited to be sharing this beautiful space alongside Rustic Trails (Rustic Trails ), a small business offering all-natural soy wax candles, bath salts, thoughtful gifts, and so much more. It’s such a joy to be surrounded by other creative small businesses and to be part of a shop with so much heart.

Over the coming months, you’ll find Lush Vine Designs bringing in a variety of fall and winter home décor, Virginia & Orange-themed treasures, seasonal apparel, magnets, bookmarks, jewelry, scripture-inspired pieces, and more.

A heartfelt thank you to Jill, the owner of The Country Gathering, for welcoming me into your shop family and giving me this wonderful opportunity to continue growing and expanding Lush Vine Designs. I’m truly thankful for your support and generosity, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead!

Thank you to everyone who joined me for our very first Threads of Heritage Kinusaiga Workshop.

It was such a joy spending the afternoon/evening creating together, sharing stories, and watching each project come to life. Even though everyone started with the same design, every finished piece reflected its maker through different fabric choices, colors, and creative touches—making each one truly one of a kind.

One of my favorite moments was seeing the smiles when everyone stepped back to admire what they had created. There’s something so rewarding about slowing down, learning a new skill, and leaving with a handmade piece you’ll proudly display in your home.

Thank you for spending part of your day with me, for trusting me to teach this beautiful Japanese art form, and for making our first Threads of Heritage workshop such a wonderful success.

I already have ideas for future designs, and I can’t wait to create with you again soon.

Join me for Threads of Heritage, a hands-on workshop celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary through the beautiful Japanese art of Kinusaiga.

Often called “fabric painting,” Kinusaiga is a unique no-sew technique that transforms fabric into dimensional artwork full of texture, character, and charm.

During this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll create your own framed Americana-inspired keepsake using carefully selected fabrics and traditional Kinusaiga techniques. No sewing experience is required—just a willingness to slow down, create, and enjoy the process.

Your ticket includes:
• One 8” x 8” Kinusaiga project
• An unfinished wood frame to customize
• All materials and instruction
• Light bites and refreshments

I cannot wait to share this special art form with you and create something beautiful together.

I’ll be there this Sunday, May 3rd from 11am-4pm but this new market will be happening the first and third Sunday of each month from May until September.
