Crafty Ewe In business since 1989, the Crafty Ewe is a needlework and custom frame shop. Fabrics? Just come in and look over our wall of fabric.

We specialize in counted cross stich with thousands of charts to choose from, but we carry several counted canvas charts and a wide variety of threads that can be used in either of the two fiber arts as well as other types of embroidery. Needlework do-dads are needlework do-dads and we carry a large collection of those as well. From 10 count to 40 count, you should be able to find one just right for your heirloom sampler or holiday hang-up. Floss isn't the only fiber available to cross stitchers any more and the Crafty Ewe carries all the most popular....Gentle Arts Sampler Threads; Weeks Dye Works; Crescent Colours; and many more cottons, silks, wools, and metalics from Kreinik, Rainbow Gallery, Thread Gatherers, Caron Collection, Thread Worx, and more. Although many people think we only frame needlework, we frame all types of art and probably frame as much paper art as needlework.....we just think we do a better job with needlework than some other frame shops because we have a greater appreciation for it. Need something "unusual" framed? We've framed several things you wouldn't believe.

Don't you just ❤️ when you take out a WIP and it's like "Hey! I don't have much more to do on that." That's how I felt about Pumpkin Junction, a punchneedle project I started last fall. (It's from Sew Cherished. ) Patterns and supplies are available online or in the shop.

Time for Saturday Show and Tell the "Robbie would be thrilled" edition, part 2. Emily really went to town with the floss from Robbie and used it to finish these 4 pieces as well. Time for Saturday Show and Tell the "Robbie would be thrilled" edition, part 1. Recently, Emily received bags of floss that had belonged to our dear friend Robbie. She used that floss to get seven(!) pieces over the finish line. Here are the first 3 -
Blue Jay's Summer/Robin Pickens, Clementine/Plum Street and The Goblins/Shakespeare's Peddler.

I think Robbie would be tickled to know her floss is being put to such great use! Watch for part 2 tomorrow.
