These two couldn’t believe it when I told them there were still people that haven’t visited Homesteads for Hope. Shooketh, I believe, was the word muttered.

We have so much fun at all of our events, workshops and classes- all of which are open to the public (some need tickets- others do not!).

If you’ve never been to the farm, it’s the perfect season! Everything is blooming and yielding deliciousness. The trees, the flowers, the fields- THE CANAL. Lots of smiles and friendly faces. The birds are chirping, the frogs are jumpin.

There’s also a super cute farm store where you can purchase farm merch, farm made foods, apprentice made items, fresh flowers, and locally made goodies!

Come out to the farm- we promise you’ll never want to leave. 💗🌼

Here is my latest - a unique dresser with a cabinet! I’m going to do a paint wash in a color called Latte! Sanded it. down and will use a watered down paint as a stain. Which color do you love best?

Picture 1: taken at night
Driftwood Stain on the top (darker but seems to bring out orange tones)
Latte paint wash on the middle drawer
Natural on the bottom for reference

Picture 2: taken in the morning
Top left: Latte wash
Top right: Pickling White stain
Bottom: Driftwood stain
