What greater love, than to give the Gift of Life to someone you never even met. Such a kind and selfless act to save a life when yours could not be saved. Three years ago tonight at 9:30 I stood at the window of my hospital room and watched the helicopter fly past my window to deliver my new liver. To give me the life back that I had been fighting to not lose. You want to cry because someone lost their life. And because you’re scared and because the kiss you are getting from husband right before they close the doors behind you. might be the last kiss you will ever get. So how do you wrap your head around it? You say a prayer and give it to God. And I’m here today to give you proof. That he does listen to your prayers. And I thank each and everyone that prayed for me that night. So many people shared my story and I had people I didn’t even know praying for me from everywhere. I am so grateful and Blessed for my Gift of Life and all the prayers that were said for me.
