We are excited to now carry Bear Food gourmet nuts and Virginia peanuts. What began as a college side hustle inspired by a family tradition has grown into a business with a much bigger purpose.

Inspired by the founder’s brother, Miller, who has Down Syndrome, Bear Food partners with Rainbow Express Ministries to support job training, skill development, and meaningful opportunities for young adults of all abilities.

42 wonderful years ago today Mike and Melinda said “I do,” honeymooned in the Cayman Islands, and packed up in Houston to begin their life together in Waco, Texas. They had never even heard of Brookhaven, Mississippi. In January 1986 they were spending their first weekend in Brookhaven having lunch at Woolworths on Cherokee Street. Only God knew what 129 West Cherokee Street had in store for the Saids! Happy anniversary, Mike and Melinda! ❤️
