If you haven’t heard, a little girl named Jimena was involved in an accident with a car today after school near Medary Elementary School. Thankfully, we’ve heard that she is expected to be okay, but she has a long road of recovery ahead of her. ❤️

Jimena’s brother is part of our Pizza Ranch family, and we want to do everything we can to support their family during this incredibly difficult time.

So this Monday, September 7th, Brookings Pizza Ranch will be hosting a Community Impact Night for Jimena — ALL DAY LONG!

🍕 20% of all sales will be donated to Jimena’s family
🩷 100% of tips will go directly to the family

I had my 30th class in 36 days at Synergy this morning! Their purpose statement is "find your Y."

I turned 40 this year. I'm a wife, mom of 4 and a small business owner. I manage several chronic health conditions, the most challenging being PCOS/PMOS, ocular migraines and Chiari Malformation.

Life is busy, and for years I rarely made the top of my own "to do" lists.

This year my husband, Aaron, had a leadership role in an intense and massive SAP project at Solventum. It required a significant commitment of his time and attention in a year that FOUND also experienced major growth. With 6 monthes to SAP deployment he stepped into a leadership position and s**t got REAL. He rose to the challenge and excelled - I am SO PROUD OF HIM - while recognizing that it was several monthes of insanity with great personal sacrifice for both of us.

February through August had Aaron's brain on SAP deployment 24/7. A lot of the special plans we made for my 40th birthday had to be canceled. Even with FOUND closed for the summer there is always work to do. With all the household responsibilities on me, and 4 kids at home for the summer I often remarked that there were days that I couldn't finish a single thought or sentence.

It was really hard.

I was frustrated and feeling like there was nothing left for myself, and in July I told Aaron I was joining Synergy - because I needed something for me.

My 'Y' is myself.

I think about it everytime I walk into the Infrared room and look at the glowing 'Y'. I kept that to myself because it felt a little silly and selfish - but being a better Noelle makes me better for everyone who needs me.

I'm a better mom when I can not only keep up with my kids - but race them, challenge them and keep ahead of them.
I'm a better wife when I can take on the extra load when necessary without feeling exhausted.
I'm a better friend when I feel confident and present.
I'm a better leader when I feel strong.

I always think to myself that Synergy is 'strength for the body AND mind.'

This last month has been extremely busy and challenging personally and professionally. We also had a really rough respiratory illness come through our home and a few other health issues and injuries I'm working through. And of course all the back-to-school and fall sports busyness.

A whole list of things that used to be excuses for me to avoid exercise - and now they're motivators.

I've set goals since day 1 with Synergy - and I've already had to move that goal post several times.

I wanted to focus on getting stronger instead of 'skinny' - but I've lost 16 lbs and several inches off my waist. I'm moving into smaller sizes, feeling more confident and seeing lots of non-scale victories, too.

It's common to focus on the number on the scale in a fitness journey, but I already know that I've "gained" more than I'll ever lose.

I am so grateful to Miranda Hilbrands, Danielle Witte, Mandi Cramer and Jinny Struck for helping me get to the door - and the 5 AM crew for the absolutely insane welcome when I walked through it! That was one of the coolest moments of my life.

That infectious energy has me excited to rise before the sun to move my body, and continue to move my body more all day long. It's pretty fun to have Aaron Morford beside me, too - especially since my brain can't navigate circuits or any verbal directions before 8 AM. 😆

Jimena goes to Vail's school, and our kids ride the transfer bus and walk home so my heart always stops when I hear sirens in our area. I'm so sorry this happened to Jimena and to all involved and affected, including the driver.

Let's all make an effort to be a little safer in school zones and to speak up + take action when we see something unsafe. ❤️‍🩹

Which are your favorites?!

I've been going back and forth looking at the fall sports schedules and the projected shipping dates on these items, and I'm a little torn!. They'd arrive sometime between September 10 and October 2nd...and depending on the year we could be in tank tops or parkas by then! 😅

Possibly a little late for getting much wear for football season - but still lots of time to wear them for winter sports!

What did we think - still something we NEED?!

Throwback: anybody remember this set?!

I'm still obsessed.

The upcycled tabletop with classic hairpin legs.
The modern wide plaid print upholstery.

The pitcher.
The stem.
The tile.

Obsessed.

I love how terracotta feels neutral throughout the year - and then lends that subtle burnt orange to compliment fall colors.

That texture in the pitcher is sooo good! It's pretty large, and the stem filling it isn't fully 'fluffed' and it's already filling it generously - great quality and value on that stem and such subtle fall colors work beautifully with any pallette.

If you're ready for fall, then fall at FOUND is ready for you!
..and if you're still holding on to summer, you won't get judgement from me! I savor the sunshine, too. 😉
