Happy New Year! Last project of the year completed yesterday - just didn’t post it. Question now of course is paint or no paint? Handmade using pine and walnut wood.

I just finished a larger project a week or so ago for Christmas. Here’s my first nativity set. I brought it to church last week and they put it front and centre in front of the altar. With just two Sundays back then before Christmas, I needed to get it done so it could be enjoyed by so many. It’s made three trips back and forth to church.

Two new ornaments hot off the saw yesterday. Finished with Danish oil and a red ribbon to hang in the tree. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

A couple of new Christmas ornaments just finished.

A couple of new ornaments I was working on. There was more but the wood I was using was too fragile and the third one broke as I was cutting it so I stopped with these two. They are 2 layers. I tried dark in back and dark in front versions. Which version do you like best?

After showing some big kids at heart the little car set for little ones, they fell in love and wanted a little painted bug for themselves. So, here’s for all the big kids out there this Christmas. Get some toys and play a bit. It’ll do your heart good.

Here’s the four little cars all finished. These ones were left natural for little ones that might be interested. I showed them off to some folks and I got asked for a few painted bugs. So I cut three more little cars and will paint them up. I may do more of the set and paint them too.
