Applicable onto any printable surface, DeIslas pattern designs are available for licensing, as well as custom commissions created specifically for your purpose. Considered in repeat format, we deliver unique and endless background imagery for your project, readily suited for yardage

and style. We invite you to curate your home, wardrobe, set, establishment, and accessorize it with DeIslas prints, choosing from a variety of materials ready to be appropriated to your fancy. And if you are wondering whether a fabric is suitable for what you have in mind, don’t hesitate to contact us. We are here to help and to encourage you to materialize your ideas. About the Art:
DeIslas patterns are original collaborative illustrations. We believe that original is everyone and everywhere, just about as unavoidable as the difference in the way people walk. Just as no 2 seeds are (naturally) identical, the challenge in this age of biological engineering is to access individuality. The way we approach each new imagery and theme is a process of tapping into and revealing, which is why we consider DeIslas a labor of discovery. Amid a frenzy of influences and inspirations in our environment- those consciously acquired and those helplessly consumed, among learned skills and intuition, collective experiences and personal habits - we try to uncover buried uniqueness. DeIslas means “from islands” in Spanish. Thus named because its 2 sole employees originate from sub-continental lands. Surrounding waters make flux characteristic to islands, applicable from weather anomalies to cultural heritage. An identity often shaped by migrated styles from all over, what we make looks and speaks of such fusion. DeIslas, a project that continues to evolve within our comings and goings. As we work to visualize all the diversity inherent in thought and nature, for us art does not only reside within museums and galleries. Instead we create concepts from the drawing board that end up as rolls of fabric, materializing artwork into a format that is both versatile and functional. We believe that a direct relationship between artist and consumer encourages originality applicable from art to craft to merchandise. By committing ourselves to provide unique patterns printed on high quality materials, we hope to inspire you to explore your own creations with us.
