This dining space is the perfect example of a monochromatic palette that doesn't read as snoozy or bland. Herringbone floors and a view of the greenery outdoors break things up enough to feel rich and inviting.

Show of hands if you would have loved having a space like this when you were growing up. With its whimsical wallpaper and playful tones, this corner of my Fort Greene project remains a favorite.

How gorgeous are the contrasting details in this dining room? I could marry that stone on the dining table. The traditional ceiling provides the perfect juxtaposition against the contemporary furnishings, while the rich palette ties everything together.

Fireplaces create the perfect vibe, whether they operate or not. They can be tricky to plan around and really anchor the space, but if you nail the layout, they are always a value add to a room. Between the ornate fireplace and the accent wall, I kept the palette soft and soothing with wallpaper and plenty of cozy throws.

Children's spaces work best when function disappears into the design. I love the way the curved bookcase conceals a play area, and a ladder leads up to a suspended net for reading. Storage is generous but unobtrusive, the palette stays light throughout, and a patterned rug ties the tones together. The lighting? Definitely one of my favorite parts of this room.

Sunflower wallpaper this bold feels perfectly at home in my Victorian Townhouse. The antique bench and wavy mirror add to the conversation of patterns without feeling too cluttered. Playful sconces help pull the warm accents into the rest of the space.

How gorgeous is the entry of my Victorian Townhouse project? Subtle artwork on the walls for texture, a pop of greenery, and traditional details that maintain the home's period without feeling remotely stuffy make this one of my current favorite spaces.
