Labscape Architecture

Labscape Architecture Labscape is a laboratory of multiple landscapes - a lab of escaping conventional design.

By shaping and refocusing our awareness, LABscape creates complex and richly varied spatial experiences, new programmatic relationships, and beautifully simple organizations resulting in a positive impact on the environment. With a particular interest in generative design, digital manufacturing, fluid dynamics, crystallography, acoustics, genetics and topographical manipulation, LAB weaves connect

ions between these fields and architectural practice to explore new and multiples paths for architectural design. A positive design that passes thru contemporary themes linked to new technologies, while taking inspiration from the most fundamental source: Nature. We always aim in our projects to create a strong and successful relationship between landscape and architecture.

BROOKLYN APARTMENT RENOVATION - One of our priorities with this project was to maximise the home’s connection to its two terraces, giving the apartment a continuous dialogue with the outdoors. Each terrace has its own identity: the south-facing “winter terrace” for December lunches, and the front terrace for summer evenings with Manhattan glowing in the background.

We planted tulips, aromatic herbs, wildflowers and trees that shift with the seasons, making the terraces living ecosystems in the sky. Birds even nest in the trees.

For us, these gardens are not just outdoor spaces - they’re extensions of the home, bringing nature into daily life in the heart of Brooklyn.
