We’re excited to share that construction is underway on our PLAY, Roxbury project.

The project includes multiple cabins and a shared bath house that will expand the capacity of the PLAY yoga school and offer the opportunity for retreats and weekend stays in the Catskills.

We’ll be sharing more as the work progresses, including the design thinking, materials, and on-site milestones that bring the project to life.

Designed as a walkable, car-free collection of homes arranged around three courtyards, Frog Alley Mews brings everyday movement outdoors through pedestrian paths, planting, bike parking, and places to pause.

Inspired by the communal spirit of historic Godshuis and mews houses, the project reimagines shared living for Kingston’s Stockade Business District.

What you see are cool hand-finished concrete floors, smooth blue slab-front cabinetry, and crisp white countertops. What you don't see is the high-performance engineering keeping the humid summer air out. The thick, airtight perimeter walls and high-performance windows insulate this interior envelope so effectively that the cool air captured inside stays inside, keeping the kitchen island a refreshing place for the family to gather all day long.

The guest bedroom of this house in Upstate NY features a custom wood wall unit designed to maximize every inch of space. By combining storage cabinets, the headboard, and bedside shelving into one seamless piece, we kept the room clutter-free. The textured wallpaper in the center provides a nice contrast to the wood and helps the space feel more open.
