In the US, people leave things outside for others to take before throwing them away, but this felt different…😍 heavy crystal, just sitting there like no one wanted it. I swear I manifested it… I’ve been thinking about getting a crystal vase for the past month 🤭 and here we are. Would you have done the same?

One small design trick that completely changes the mood of an apartment:

Don’t rely on the big light!

Instead, layer warm lamps around the space.
It instantly makes a home feel softer, calmer, and more inviting, especially in a small NYC apartment.

It’s the quickest way I know to change the entire atmosphere without buying anything new.

This was our kitchen the day we got the keys.

I remember standing in that doorway, staring at the bright green walls and thinking —
okay… this will be a project.

It wasn’t perfect and it wasn’t “us.”
But the light coming through that window felt special.

And I’ve learned to trust that feeling.

We didn’t have a big renovation plan and enough money.
We just had a vision of creating something intentional in a our first, small nyc apartment 🥹

This was the beginning of learning that a home doesn’t become beautiful overnight —
it becomes beautiful when you slowly shape it into your own ♥️
