A skein tells part of the story. A swatch helps you picture the possibilities. 🧶

At Brooksville Fiber Company, we’ve worked up a little over 100 swatches featuring our regular colorways and our Landmark Collection—so you can see how our hand-dyed colors come together stitch by stitch!

We also have crochet examples in the shop to help you see how our yarns look in crocheted projects. Slowly but surely, we’re working toward swatching every single colorway to help you choose the yarn for your next creative adventure.

Our Landmark Edition colorways are also swatched separately, giving these hometown stories their own place to shine. Each represents a local business that has chosen to tell its story through our colors.

When you create with a Landmark colorway, consider visiting the business that inspired it. Show them what you made! Let them see how their investment in our yarn shop has become something beautiful in your hands. ❤️

We appreciate every customer, every hashtag, every share, and every k5ind word that brings someone new through our door at Panbanged Knits and Fiber Shoppe. When you share your projects, tell a friend about us, or help someone learn to knit or crochet, you help our creative community grow.

Come explore the swatches, find your colors, and share what you’re making. Tag us in your projects—we’d love to see where our hometown yarn takes you!

👜 SEPTEMBER CLASS & MAKE-ALONG — HANDMADE HANDBAGS! 👜

Make a little room in your wardrobe, because September’s class at Panbanged Knits & Fiber Shoppe is all about creating these adorable handmade handbags!

Knitters AND crocheters are invited! We have both a knit and a crochet pattern, so you can create your bag using the craft you love.

And this is where the fun really begins—make it completely your own.

Choose a heavier T-shirt yarn for a substantial, structured handbag, or work it in DK cotton for a smaller, lighter look. Add a row of sparkle for a little extra something. Then dress it up with beautiful metal handles, chains, scarves, bows, and hardware.

These bags are infinitely accessorizable, so yours can be as classic, playful, bold, or downright fancy as you want it to be.

✨ Make a statement.
✨ Make one to match your favorite outfit.
✨ Make more than one.
✨ And with Christmas coming faster than we'd like to admit…make a few as gifts!

These bags are adorable to carry, wonderfully durable, and a great way to turn your handwork into something you can actually wear out and show off.

SEPTEMBER CLASS + MAKE-ALONG

Want instruction and help along the way? Join us for the September class.

Already comfortable with your knitting or crochet and don't need the extra instruction? Join us for the September Make-Along instead! You can still be part of the fun, choose your materials and accessories, and create right alongside everyone else.

🧶 Both the knit and crochet patterns are available through the shop.

The knitting pattern will also go live on Ravelry on the first Tuesday of September, just in time for class.

Come pick your color, choose your hardware, decide how much sparkle you need, and let's cause a few waves with a handmade handbag that's anything but ordinary. 👜✨

Can a bulky yarn really be perfect for Florida?
We think so.

Meet Brick Street Bulky from Brooksville Fiber Company.

✔ 100% Fine Merino Wool
✔ 109 yards per 100-gram skein
✔ Fast to knit or crochet
✔ Soft, lofty, and breathable
✔ Incredible stitch definition
✔ Rich, dimensional hand-dyed color
✔ Smooth construction that resists splitting

Meet the Maya Shawl, made with just three skeins of Brick Street Bulky, along with several of our hand-dyed colorways.
This is the yarn that surprises everyone.

Perfect for cool evenings, restaurants with enthusiastic air conditioning, holiday events, travel, and those moments when you want a little warmth without feeling weighed down.

The expectation is a bulky yarn to feel heavy, stiff, and too warm. Instead, Brick Street Bulky creates fabric that's airy enough for warmer climates while still giving you all the beautiful texture, speed, and squish that make bulky yarn so satisfying to work with.

We designed Brick Street Bulky to be enjoyed all year long. Beautiful enough for every season, comfortable enough to reach for whenever you need it, and soft enough that you'll find yourself making excuses to wear it.
