I NEVER do this before things are in inventory... but I couldn't stand it any longer! 🤣

Our handmade llama fur keychains have arrived in white, caramel, and cocoa, and they're as adorable as you'd expect. 🦙💕

BUT...

I also got the ZOMBIE LLAMAS. 🧟🦙💚

Y'all. These little guys are about 7" tall, handmade, bile green, have tiny exposed brains, and are ridiculously cute. I am completely obsessed.

They're not even in inventory yet, but I had to give you a sneak peek before they officially hit the shelves.

June is full of beautiful making, new skills, and growing together at Panbanged Knits & Fiber Shoppe. 🧶✨

Our June monthly class is a Bottom-Up Blouse class for both knitters and crocheters!
This project is designed to help you build confidence in garment construction while expanding your skills beyond top-down shaping.

In class you’ll learn: • Bottom-up garment construction
• How to determine and customize length
• Light patterning across the upper portion of the blouse
• Side and shoulder seaming techniques
• Garment finishing skills that create a polished fit

Class meets every Tuesday in June from 3–5 PM.
Cost: $60 plus materials and pattern.

This class is best suited for knitters and crocheters who already:
• Read basic patterns
• Increase and decrease comfortably
• Count stitches and rows independently

Please come in early before class if you still need yarn so we can help get your yarn wound, pattern prepared, and swatching completed before class begins.

We also have a brand new shop model on display — a gorgeous side-to-side constructed vest worked in Glacen Cotton with just a touch of sparkle. ✨

This lightweight layer is absolutely perfect for Florida weather:
• Throw it over a tank top or t-shirt
• Pair it with jeans or a swing dress
• Perfect for chilly air conditioning without being too warm outdoors

And of course… our little baby goats, Tova and Marsalis, turned three weeks old on Friday! 🐐💕
They’re growing beautifully, full of personality, and we appreciate everyone who has been enjoying their updates and cheering them on along the way.

We’re also getting ready to announce a couple of new pattern releases very soon, and we cannot wait to share them with all of you.

The babies are officially THREE WEEKS OLD already, and since so many of you asked for updates, here they are! 🐐💕

Meet Marsalis and Tova.

Their names were inspired by Remarkably Bright Creatures on Netflix with Sally Field — and honestly, if you haven’t watched it yet, it’s absolutely wonderful. (The book is even better!)

These two little Nigerian Dwarf babies are absolutely flourishing. They are healthy, happy, energetic, and have fully discovered the joy of pretending they are tiny mountain goats. At this point, they spend most of their day bouncing, climbing, jumping, and trying to keep up with the older girls in the herd.

Tova is incredibly inquisitive, vibrant, and vivacious. She wants to investigate absolutely everything and has no hesitation about doing it her own way. Marsalis, on the other hand, has decided he would much rather be a lap goat than a billy goat. He is incredibly snuggly and would happily spend all day curled up for attention if allowed. 💙

You may notice in the video that both babies have little spots on the tops of their heads. That is from the cauterizing process used during disbudding (dehorning). I personally do not sell goats with horns because horns can get caught on fencing and structures, and unfortunately people also tend to grab goats by their horns like handles, which can cause injury and stress to the animal. So if you were wondering what those spots were, now you know!

They are healing beautifully and are doing fantastic.

You’ll also probably spot a few other members of my little herd making appearances throughout the video — including LaFonda LaRusa, Maybelline Marie Bounce House, and possibly Delilah Sue. And if they don’t make it into this one, trust me… there will absolutely be future goat content. 😂

Honestly, goats are pure joy. They truly never seem to have a bad day, and it’s impossible not to smile watching them.

Thank you to everyone who asked for updates on these babies. I’ll keep trying to catch more videos of their antics, cuddles, climbing adventures, and all the adorable chaos that comes with baby goats. 🐐✨

The way these colors melt together feels like a Florida sunset wrapped around your shoulders. 🌴✨

✨ Six Years of Growth, Creativity, and Community ✨

On Friday, May 15th, Panbanged Knits & Fiber Shoppe turns SIX years old… and it’s honestly hard to put into words what this journey has meant to us. 💛

What started as a dream, a tiny space, and a whole lot of hope has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined. So many of you were here before the doors even opened. You watched the shelves go up, shared our posts, brought your friends, took classes, showed us your projects, and helped build this little yarn shop into the thriving creative community it is today.

Because of all of you, Panbanged Knits & Fiber Shoppe has grown into a true destination yarn shop, welcoming makers from all over Florida and beyond. Seeing so many people call us their local yarn shop — even from miles away — is something that will never stop being humbling to us.

And the most exciting part?

We will continue to grow. 🌿

We will continue to expand, continue creating, continue building community, and continue bringing new inspiration, fibers, colorways, and ideas to the people who walk through our doors. It is such a joy to grow right alongside all of you, and we are so excited for what the future holds for our fiber community.

Last night was a very special night around here… 🐐💕
When I got home, Barbarella Elaine was already in labor, and I had the absolute joy of being there for both babies to be born. At one point she even came over and laid down beside me so I could help encourage her while she became the proud mama of TWO beautiful Nigerian Dwarf babies — one buckling and one little doeling.

Both babies are healthy, strong, busy, and already full of personality. The buckling (our little boy) is the one with the little black spots on his head, and the doeling (our sweet little girl) is the one with the mostly white head and those adorable frosted ears. And yes… both babies inherited those gorgeous blue eyes from their daddy. 💙

Mama is doing an incredible job, and these babies are already hopping around like they own the place. The little boy definitely seems to have an attitude already, while his sister clearly has no intention of being told what to do. 😂

Honestly, it was hard leaving them this morning to come work on yarn and colorways because all I wanted to do was sit and watch them play all day.

Since Brooksville Fiber Company is built around our love of fiber, animals, color, creativity, and small-town life, it felt only right to share a little bit of this happiness with all of you too. 💐
