Starting an exciting build I’m excited to share!

Took on something a little different than normal, 2 curved floating shelves! These are really going to make the house it’s going in pop on the wall! Stay tuned for more videos!

Just some fun bandsaw work on these cutting boards! These are so fun and unique to make!

This bandsaw I got off Facebook marketplace a few years back, one of the better purchases I’ve made. It’s old but it works and chews cleanly through everything I throw at it!

Definitely a needed upgrade to the shop for both a more comfortable workshop but also functional workshop. My shops is not the biggest and space is limited but extra wall storage is always something to be on the lookout for! These small cabinets will do the trick! Went together quick and is already making a difference in organization!

Yes these are OSB cabinets and yes I used soft close hinges. That’s what’s nice about shop furniture! You can do whatever you want!

Last but not least is the finish! My go to is soaking the boards with food grade oil! Love how it looks and the durability of the oil after washing the boards!

One of the final steps in the cleaver cutting board build is getting the juice groove routed, edges profiled, and sanded!

After the sanding I water pop these boards to make sure the grain doesn’t raise back up when washed, that part isn’t shown but it’s a crucial step!

After this is the oil and then they are ready to be used!

I’m using a template to route out the shape of the board. Yes I did run out of double sided tape in this video and used clamps while routing the template but luckily everything stayed perfectly aligned!

Taking time during the shaping and routing process is something imperative to making sure these boards are very consistent!

Excited to be back in the (new location to me) shop! Took quite some time off after I moved and married my beautiful wife .farnell. I’ve been starting back up with some of my unique cleaver shaped cutting boards!

First part of the process is getting the lumber milled up and glued up before being placed on the template for final shaping and routing!

I will have some for sale in the next few weeks so keep an eye out!

Been getting back in the swing of things with the woodworking business the past couple weeks after taking some time off. Here’s some doors I did a while back! Looking forward to sharing a couple of projects I’m working on now!

Finished up this build the other day! It’s been a while since I’ve done a commissioned build but I’m glad I had the chance to make a customer happy!
