❤️💙🌷 The Scandinavian Festival may be over…but apparently the inspiration followed me home! 🌷💙❤️

While playing with vintage dishware for my newest Upcycled Garden Blooms, I started putting these three together—and suddenly realized where my inspiration was coming from. 🇸🇪✨

The crisp blue and white, sweet little tulips and folk florals, and those wonderful red, yellow, green and blue details all have such a cheerful Scandinavian folk-art feel.

And that red bloom? ❤️ The moment it started coming together, I thought of the beautiful Dala horses and colorful Scandinavian designs that filled Junction City during the festival. 🐴🌼

I love how inspiration sneaks into art sometimes without you even realizing it. These weren’t planned as a collection, but somehow they seem to have become one. 💕

So even though Scandi Fest has packed up for another year, a little bit of its color, charm and joy is still blooming in my studio. 🌸♻️✨

As thousands of visitors gather in Junction City to celebrate the Scandinavian Festival, I hope you’ll take a little time to explore the local shops and the many talented makers who fill them. 💕
