We know that many of our customers and fans loved Dolly just like we did and feel her loss deeply. So, for the month of September, we are having a fund raiser for her Imagination Library. We are doing this because flowers and cards decay, but the skill and imagination gained from reading stays forever. I was blessed to have a moma who read to me when I was an infant and people who saw me thought I was a highly advanced toddler as I was reading. Little did they know I had memorized the books. m still a voracious reader today. So... if you want to donate to Dolly's Imagination Library just tell one of the girls when you come in that you are donating to Dolly and not my snack fund. At the end of September, we will donate the monies to Dolly's Imagination Library. Buttermilk Farms Antiques & Auction will match any raised monies 100%. Because as most of us learned when we were young.. "Reading is Fundamental". Let's keep Dolly's legacy moving forward.
