I’m not sure why it has taken me this long to write this post or perhaps I am very sure. It’s difficult to write.
For over 15 years we have had the privilege of preserving important memories for you, either through capturing them in our cameras or by putting them behind glass. Sometimes it was both.
The pandemic has had a significant impact on many small businesses, including ours.
We are still recovering from the supply chain disruption that made it difficult to complete work in a timely fashion. We have relied on raw materials and outsourced some aspects of our production, which worked until bigger businesses took priority.
Our focus is now shifting towards new horizons. D, our kiddo, will be heading off to college in just a year and a half so we have college visits and other preparation taking priority. John continues to work full time in management at Home Depot and serve as Hancock County Commissioner. I have dedicated myself to bringing the HOME Made Gift Shop at HOME INC to its fullest potential and I continue to volunteer in our community. Things will certainly change again in the future and perhaps we will revisit the idea of offering our services once more but for now we are closed. Thank you so very much to everyone who trusted us with all their treasures.
Forever grateful, Leslie
