That’s over 50,000 yards of elastic and we are still going strong. So if you need elastic, bias or other supplies, we can help!

Hello my faithful followers... it’s been a long time, I know. As much as I would like to catch you up on why we’ve been absent, all the awesome stuff we’ve been doing behind the scenes now just isn’t the time 😞.

During this unprecedented and unsettling time, I hope this message finds you and your loved ones well. It may also find many of you behind your machines sewing masks to help those in need during this Covid Crisis.

Last Wednesday at midnight I sent out an update to those of you that get our emails announcing that we have 1/4” braided elastic for Covid Mask Making. It has been posted on our website along with additional supplies like bias binding and interfacing. I have been packing and shipping orders ever since.

I have also been open (since our shop is closed) for Cut & Carry Pick Up at the shop door Tuesday-Friday Noon-4.

I am doing this all ALONE. But I’m super grateful that I have behind the scenes, off site, help like Sara working on the website and a video, soon to be shared with all of you explaining what and how we are doing all “this”. Patrick is working full time still as one of the night managers at our local CVS & printing my shipping labels in the mornings. Christine is locked down at home sewing masks for loved ones and those in need (my family included 💕).

I have a working system in place and have shipped out over 150 orders in 48 hours. Not bad for a one man band and “her” back up dancers 😁.

I think I’m ready to announce it to you all “my Facebook people” that it is GAME ON.

I have 1000’s and 1000’s of yards of both black and white 1/4” elastic and I have confirmation of a continual supply. At least for now. We are selling it in 10 yard bundles for $5, that’s .50 per yard. Our Cotton bias binding is the same, 10yard for $5. I will continue to sell it at this price until if and when my price goes up.

If you are wanting a LOCAL PICK UP during our specified time Tuesday- Friday Noon-4, please call the shop and place your order with me over the phone. I will cut it and have it ready. When you call please try to be prepared to order with quantity and color. Remember I am one 🤹🏻‍♀️ juggler in this three ring 🎪 circus.

Tomorrow (tues 31th) I will reach out to another friend, Aimee, to have her make a “pretty” Facebook “ad looking” thing, more concise, for you all to be able to share with your friends and sewing groups.( Hey Aimee you awake?, I’m gonna call you in the morning 🥰).

So please keep stitching.
Keep giving to those in need.
And keep spreading our love of sewing with your handmade gifts that are so desperately needed.

And I’m going to keep measuring, whacking, packing and shipping till I can ship no more. Till there is no more need.

Having a blast at PIQF! The new cutie patootie in the booth (pictured with Patrick) is Cheyenne, Christines daughter.

Our new kits are a hit! Our Kokeshi pincushions and Valerie Wells “Elsa” the Elephant are too cute to resist!

Also at the show we have new Shop Swag...
3 shop shirts, our new jelly roll zipper totes and our new shop organizer, which Cheyenne designed a logo for 🤗.

It’s PIQF time! The Pacific International Quilt Festival is upon us! 😃🥳

Dawn and Patrick left late last night with a trailer full of fabric, kits, and dreams 🥰! They are setting up the booth today and we couldn’t be more excited to share everything we have to offer to all the quilt show-goers! If you’re in the Santa Clara area, stop by and see our booth from 10am-6pm Thursday, Oct. 17th- Saturday, Oct. 19th or 10am-4pm on Sunday, Oct. 20th!

For those not at the show, fear not! The shop is still open and you can still come in and get fabric cut off the bolt or your thread 🧵 and notions! Stop in and see us. We’d love to have you!

It’s October 1st and The Creation Station is Fall Fabulous! 🍁 Break out your sweaters, scarves 🧣, and pumpkin spice flavored everything!

We have FALLen in love with this new line of plaid fabrics! They’re so perfect for a cozy fall raggedy quilt, placemat, or whatever suits your fancy! We think it goes beautifully with some of our leaf 🍂 print fabric and we can’t wait to see what you all create with it! Come on in and harvest some for yourself!

Hi everyone, Cait here! I’m the one who writes most of the Facebook posts and I’m sure you guys have noticed that we have been MIA lately. The reason is that I got a job in my field! I started working as a full time pharmacist last month and I haven’t been to the shop for a while since I have been working hard and adjusting to a schedule that has me waking up at 4:30 AM! I still work for the shop as their social media person. I look forward to sharing all the awesome new stuff the shop has for you guys!

UPDATE: we only have ONE panel left!! Get yours before it goes extinct! 🦴

The Creation Station has gone Jurassic! 🦖 We just got this AMAZING dinosaur panel featuring the ferocious cousin of the Quiltasaurus hex, the Tyrannosaurus rex! It even has two companion fabrics! It’s the perfect size for your favorite dinosaur lover to immerse themselves in this colorful scene.

The panel is 84 inches wide and 108 inches tall (frightened Christine for scale) and has SEW many different dinosaurs 🦕 on it! They’re only $45 a piece and you practically have a ready made quilt top!

Come on in and get one for yourself before they are all gone!

Who are those cute kids? Were we really ever that young? Or skinny🤣🤣. We wanted to let you know we will be Closed Tomorrow Wednesday July 4, in observance of the Holiday... and our 27th wedding anniversary. Yep we tied the knot on the 4th of July! Well I’m still on my crazy roller coaster schedule. After Utah unpacked suitcase ( not true, still in hallway 😝) and packed up trailer for the 7 Sisters Quilt Show. It was lovely! All the ladies on the combined guilds do a wonderful job of showcasing all the talent on our central coast. And I am proud to have had 4 of my students participate in the Youth Quilt Exhibit. Special congrats to Caleb Moon age 8 who won a sponsored award 🎉👍🏻
