If you are heading out to the state fair today, check out my flowers in the horticultural building. They are on display until 9 PM this evening. I competed in the floral designer of the year competition. The theme was glamour garden party. I made a Louis Vuitton purse for one of my entries. The other had to be a hat and I used my mother-in-law’s Saks Fifth Avenue hat from back in the day. There’s lots of amazing pieces of work there. Go check it out.
