It’s a stark reminder of the rigged system in Washington. Hardworking Americans pour their blood, sweat, and tears into four decades of labor, scraping by with modest savings that barely cover rising costs. Yet career politicians glide into office, serve a handful of terms, and walk away with taxpayer-funded pensions that guarantee comfort for life, no matter their failures or scandals.
This double standard fuels the disconnect between the ruling class and the people they govern. While families wrestle with inflation, stagnant wages, and delayed dreams of retirement, elites like those in Congress build empires on public salaries and special benefits unavailable to the rest of us.
Real change demands accountability. It’s time to overhaul these lavish retirement schemes, align incentives with everyday Americans, and restore a government that serves the workers, not the other way around. Our nation’s future depends on ending this elite protection racket.
