Hey y’all! If you know me, you know I can never sit still. My mind is always dreaming up new ways to grow and expand Southern Scentsmith.

Candles have always been my passion. From countless hours of testing fragrances and perfecting pours to handcrafting my own ceramic vessels, I’ve loved every step of the journey. My goal has always been to create artisan candles and ceramics that bring warmth, beauty, and personality to your home.

So…why stop there?

I’m excited to start growing and propagating some of my favorite houseplants too! From Monsteras and Pothos to Alocasias and Philodendrons, I’ll be offering healthy, rooted plants exclusively through my social media pages.

And the best part? You can give your favorite Southern Scentsmith candle vessel a second life by repurposing it into a beautiful planter. It’s the perfect way to enjoy your handmade vessel long after the last burn.

I’m excited to share this next chapter with y’all. Stay tuned—there’s so much more to come!

Many of you have told me how much you love the lids on my concrete vessels, so I’m excited to share that they’ll now be available on my handmade ceramic vessels too!

I’m kicking things off with my new 15 oz candles, and I’ll have five available in some of my most popular scents this Saturday at Bulverde Market Day.

To celebrate the launch, these first ceramic candles with lids will be available at the same price as my larger lidless vessels.

Come grab one from the very first release of this special collection! From handcrafting each ceramic vessel to hand-pouring every candle, I take pride in creating each piece from start to finish. There aren’t many candle makers who truly make the entire candle—from the vessel itself to the finished pour.

I’ve been working on this color theme over the weekend, and I’m really loving how it’s coming together. It reminds me of those warm summer days that slowly transition into fall.

Next up: sanding, sealing, and getting them ready for their final finish. I can’t wait to share the completed pieces!
