Our Story

I have had a passion all my life for flowers. At a young age, I remember getting in a little bit of trouble when I would wait for the hydrangea bush to have full beautiful blooms and I would pick a couple so my friend and I could hold them in front of us and pretend to be in a wedding party. I guess The Man upstairs had a plan for me. I have been very fortunate to be working in the floral industry since I was 24.

I started Plantiques in 1984 and ran it until 2003 when I started working from a home studio primarily doing weddings as Flowers by Brenda Fry, and now reopening Plantiques in the beautiful small town of Bulverde. The store is located in the white Victorian building with blue trim that houses the Old Post Office.

I am excited to return to helping celebrate the different stages of life with others! We have put together a team that shares my passion, and includes a Texas Master Florist. Because of our passion, we put our hearts in everything we do.
