Do you ever see a pretty antique plate at an antique shop or second hand store and leave it behind because it doesn't fit in with your Pfaltzgraff or Fiesta ware? Next time, buy it! I find all kinds of ways to use them. This is one of my favorites and when the hubby is out of town I pull out the "pretty" dish.

I love using items with a history in unusual ways. My spoon rest is an old relish style dish and I keep my sugar and S&P corralled in a drawer from an antique sewing machine. What special way do you use or display your vintage items?
