Jalapeno Pepper Jack Burgers
Ingredients
1 lbs. lean ground beef
3 Hy-Vee Bakery Fresh sesame buns, split
6 Hy-Vee pepper jack cheese slices
1 medium white onion, sliced and sauteed
1 jalapeno, thinly sliced
1 small red bell pepper, sliced
1 tsp. dried cilantro
Directions
Lightly grease grill rack. Prepare a charcoal or gas grill for direct cooking over medium heat.
Divide ground beef into thirds and form into patties. Make a slight indentation in center of each burger for even cooking.
Grill buns, if desired.
Grill burger patties, flipping once, to an internal temperature of 160 degrees. Cooking time will depend on thickness of burger. Two minutes before removing patties from grill, top each with 2 slices of pepper jack cheese.
To assemble burgers, top each bottom bun with sautéed onions, burger patty with cheese, jalapeno, pepper, cilantro and top bun.

4 orange bell peppers (for carving) 🍊
1 cup cooked rice (white or brown) 🍚
1 pound ground beef or turkey (or a meat substitute) 🍖

Instructions
1. Prepare the Bell Peppers:

Hocus Pocus Milkshake 🧙‍♀️🥤
Ingredients:
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup whole milk
1 oz white chocolate liqueur
1 oz butterscotch schnapps
Purple food coloring
Green food coloring
Orange food coloring
Whipped cream
Halloween sprinkles
Candy corn
Gummy worms
Edible glitter (optional)
Black licorice straw
Instructions:
Divide the vanilla ice cream equally into three small bowls.
Add a few drops of purple food coloring to one bowl, green to another, and orange to the third. Mix each until the color is evenly distributed.
In a blender, combine the milk, white chocolate liqueur, and butterscotch schnapps.
Add the colored ice cream scoops to the blender.

STEPS:
1. BAKE PIE CRUST:

2. MAKE CHOCOLATE FILLING:

Candied Pecans
-1 egg white
-2 tsp water
-2 tsp vanilla
-1 lb pecan halves
-1 c sugar
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
-1/2 tsp salt
- preheat oven to 250
-In a large ziplock bag combine sugar, cinnamon and salt set aside
-In a bowl whip egg white, water and vanilla til frothy
-add pecans to egg mixture and make sure all pecans are covered
-Place moist pecans in the ziplock and toss to cover with sugar mix
-On baking sheet you can use either parchment paper or spray it with Pam
-dump ziplock on baking sheet and spread the pecans out
- cook for 1 hour- stirring pecans every 20 minutes

2 cans black beans , 15 ounce cans
2 red bell peppers , diced finely
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese , shredded
1 cup pepper jack cheese , shredded
1 lime , juiced
2 tablespoons ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup half and half , or heavy cream
1 jalapeño , thinly sliced
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Season the poblano pepper and chicken with the vegetable oil, half the salt and pepper and put onto a baking sheet lined with foil.
Roast for 25-30 minutes or until the peppers are charred and chicken is cooked through.
While the food is roasting start the soup by adding in the butter and flour into a large stockpot.
Cook the mixture while whisking for about a minute before adding in the chicken broth.
Bring the mixture to a light boil then add in the corn, black beans and red bell peppers and let it simmer for 15 minutes while the chicken and peppers finish in the oven.
Shred the chicken and dice the de-seeded poblano peppers before adding them to the soup.
Add in the remaining salt, cheddar and pepper jack cheese, lime juice, cumin, cayenne, and half and half.

- 1 16 ounces box spiral noodles
- 1 25 ounces bag breaded chicken strips

Honey Pepper Sauce:
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 3 tablespoon soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Cheese Sauce:
- 1 stick butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (freshly shredded)
- 3/4 cup colby jack cheese (freshly shredded)
- 2-3 cloves minced garlic
- Chopped fresh basil
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the chicken by following the instructions on the package. You have the option to either bake or fry the chicken strips. Once cooked, set them aside.
2️⃣ Cook the noodles by boiling them according to the instructions on the package until they're al dente. Then drain them.
3️⃣ To make the honey pepper sauce, combine honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, lemon juice, vinegar, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil. Let it simmer for 15 minutes until it thickens slightly. Allow it to cool down a bit after simmering.
4️⃣ In a pan, melt butter. Add heavy cream to create a cheese sauce. Gradually stir in parmesan, mozzarella, and colby jack cheese after each addition. Add minced garlic and season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
5️⃣ Combine the pasta with the cheese sauce. Mix everything well together. Stir in some bacon for added flavor.
6️⃣ Take your chicken strips and dip them into the honey pepper sauce so that they are thoroughly coated.
7️⃣ Serve: Plate up some of the pasta mixture, top it off with those flavorful honey pepper chicken strips. Finally garnish with some basil leaves, if desired, or even add more bacon for extra indulgence.

- 4 tablespoons sour cream 🍶
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder 🌰
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice 🍋

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 🧀
- 1½ cups chopped dill pickles 🥒
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped dill 🌿
- Coating:
- ½ cup shredded/chopped cheddar cheese 🧀
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped dill 🌿
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest 🍋
Instructions:
1. Using a hand mixer, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix for 1-2 minutes or until smooth and fluffy. Stir in shredded cheddar, pickles, and fresh dill. 🧀🍋🌿
2. Lay two long strips of plastic wrap in an ‘X’ shape on a flat surface. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the center. Bring up the edges of the plastic wrap and close at the top, tightening to form the cheese ball shape. Refrigerate and chill for at least 2 hours or until firm. 🧊

Ingredients:
For the Punch:
4 cups apple juice 🍏
2 cups cranberry juice 🍹
2 cups ginger ale (or lemon-lime soda) 🥤
1 cup pineapple juice 🍍
1-2 cups green sherbet (for a spooky touch) 🍨
1-2 cups gummy worms (for garnish) 🐍
Ice cubes ❄️
Optional Garnishes:
Fresh fruit slices (such as oranges, limes, or apples) 🍊
Additional gummy candies or creepy candy eyes 👀
Instructions:
Mix the Juices:
In a large punch bowl, combine the apple juice, cranberry juice, and pineapple juice. Stir well to combine.
