Some days at the flower shop are just… hard. 🌿

There are days I get teary-eyed with customers. Days when the weight of owning a small business in a small town feels really heavy. The long hours, the decisions, the financial stress, the pressure to keep showing up even when you’re tired… sometimes it all catches up with you.

And sometimes I wonder, “Am I really supposed to be doing this?”

But then God has a funny way of reminding me.

He sends the right customer through the door.
He lets me hear a story that reminds me why flowers matter.
Someone tells me how much the shop means to them.
A simple moment happens that I know I couldn’t have planned.

And I’m reminded that maybe this was never just about selling flowers.

Maybe it’s about being a little light in our community. 🌸
About celebrating the happy moments, walking alongside people through the hard ones, and creating a place where people feel loved.

So yes, there are hard days. There are really hard days.

But I know God wants me right here because every time I start to feel discouraged, He gently reminds me why I started in the first place.

And today, I’m choosing to see the flowers instead of the weeds. 🌷

Grateful for this little shop, this little town, and every person who continues to walk through our doors.

The hard days are part of the story, too. And I’m trusting God with every page. 🤍

Behind the Scenes - in Comfort (where I will retire one day) and Luckenbach- it wasn’t ALL work!

A little behind-the-scenes look at one of the most fun parts of planning our W**e Dinner…

A day or two spent in Comfort, Texas, tasting, exploring, and choosing the w**es that will make their way to your table. 🍷

There’s something pretty special about slowing down enough to really think through the details—what pairs beautifully with Chef Kyle Dalka’s menu, what tells a story, and what will make the entire evening feel like an experience rather than just a meal.

We tasted. We talked. We narrowed it down. And, of course, we had a little fun along the way. 😉

I can’t wait for you to taste the final selections!
