A quiet transformation.
One of my favorite projects is still one of the smallest. In 2006, I transformed an inaccessible side yard into a pocket garden by opening the living room with new French doors and extending it outdoors with a wood deck. Vintage 1964 Pierre Paulin F300 fiberglass chairs found a new home here, while potted greenery helped create the relaxed feel of a rooftop garden. It’s a reminder that even the most overlooked spaces can become the ones you enjoy the most.
