Closing the storefront didn’t break us, it set us FREE. Turns out less stress and more room to actually create was exactly what we needed. New Etsy designs dropping soon, and honestly it feels SO good to be back.

Hey friends! Today is our last day at the shop and I’m wondering if I have any one that’s available to help us put the finishing touches on the space today between 8 and 11?

We surrender our keys at noon and I want to do my very best to make sure it’s ready for the next tenant with minimal turn over work for the owner.

I will be forever grateful!

Cheesy graphic… I know, but hear me out - we didn’t have power and I’m so lucky to be getting a fresh start?!

A little business realization lately…

I am very much a “yeah, I can do that” person. Need it delivered? Sure. Installed? I’ll figure it out. Send me an unusable logo? I’ll spend an hour rebuilding it behind the scenes.

But every “yeah, I can do that” costs something, and I don’t just mean money. It costs time, pushes other projects back, affects turnaround time and sometimes takes away from the quality of the work I actually love doing.

Honestly, I want to be more intentional with my time. I love being able to give back and show up when people need it, and I can do more of that when I’m not constantly giving away hours without even realizing it.

I haven’t really been able to find the words since Friday when the storm hit. We were without power until last night, but we didn’t have any damage, and in the grand scheme of what so many in our community are facing, that just doesn’t even feel mentionable.

I’ve been trying to think of how I can help, and now that we have power back, I think I’m going to do what I do best and feed people.

I’m planning to make as many hot meals as I can and bring them to Lake Como, hopefully tomorrow. I don’t have all the details figured out yet, but I’ll share more as soon as I do.

I also have this laser for sale with a chiller. It’s a 60w Omtech with electric bed. It engraves great and has a brand new lens, but the bed needs to be leveled and mirrors aligned to cut better.

I can get model numbers when I get home if you’re interested. Asking $1500 for both.

Hey friends!

I have 4 small embroidery machines for sale. All we less than 20 hours on them.

I have a Brother SE725 Embroidery/Sewing Machine - $500

A Brother SE700 Embroidery/Sewing Machine - $575

And 2 Brother PE570 Embroidery Machines - $400/each

We are upgrading! I really enjoy embroidery, but these machines are not meant to run none stop, like I need. The do a really great job for a hobby or even a smaller business! Just not great for bulk patches and stuff! They just take too long, not bad quality.

Happy July!

The next two weeks, we are catching up on orders and closing out our time at the “shop”.

While this has been bittersweet, I’m beyond excited to see what opens up for us without having all the overhead and physical responsibility that comes with a brick and mortar. I may be even more excited to see what the future holds for that space and the business front in Elkhorn.

Life is great! I can’t wait to hit the custom side of business running on the 15th - it’s going to be amazing! Full time, working from home, with all my babies, sounds like I’ve made it!

Thanks for being patient the last three years! It’s been a rough ride, but we’re coming out the other side!

I’m not organized at all, but I’ll be at our studio space from 8-1 (Saturday, June 27) taking any and all offers to move as much of my stuff as I can this weekend. This is just a sampling of what we still have left! There’s so much more!
