Every one of those slots has a purpose.

Our moulder blank inventory stays organized and stocked so we can quote a run, big or small, without scrambling to source materials first. This is the unseen work that keeps everything else on time.

Some companies chase trends. We've spent generations perfecting a craft.

Founder Bill Cockrall started with a single sawmill in downtown Nashville back in the 1930s. Today, under family ownership since 1985, that legacy has grown into a hardwood company supplying lumber, flooring, and mouldings to customers across the US and abroad. The name changed size. The standard never did.

We have been operating in the heart of Middle Tennessee since 1985. That's nearly four decades of kiln-dried, precision-graded hardwood moving through wholesale supply chains across the country and beyond.

We are not a retail yard. We are not a hobby supplier. We are a production mill built specifically for distributors, flooring manufacturers, cabinet shops, and millwork operations that need consistent volume and accurate grading every time an order ships.

When your business depends on what comes off our trucks, we take that seriously.

Labor Day was built on a simple idea: the people doing the work deserve recognition. At The Mill, that's not a slogan. It's the reality of every shift.

Skilled graders, kiln operators, and millworkers who know Appalachian hardwood and take that knowledge seriously. Their consistency is what allows our customers to stake their own reputation on the product we ship. We don't take that lightly.

Honoring the workforce this Labor Day and every day.

We don't skip steps to save time.

Every stage of our process is studied and refined to produce superior lumber, even when that stage is slow or labor intensive. That's what it takes to make Appalachian hardwood built to last a lifetime.
