⛱️‘Tis the season! Roland’s outdoor patio season, that is!⛱️

We’ve been waiting for the sky to clear, and it did, just in time for a stellar music line-up for the weekend. Roland’s will be open Fri-Sun this season, and tonight we have the GypsyRiver Band kicking us off! Check out the full season’s music line-up on our website, and be ready for a good time — cocktails and refreshers at Roland’s, a smoker menu served from the Smok-o-Motive in the yard, and gatherings of friends and neighbors. We hope to see you there, folks!

3-Wick candles hand poured by yours truly in hand blown glass from Hearth Glass & Gallery! I always love collaborating with my friends at Hearth and these larger 3-wick vessels will make a perfect candy dish, bud vase or bougie water bowl for your fur baby when the candle is all gone!
AND…for the first time at your community candle shop…locally made pottery from the AHmazing Ruth & Michael Rutkowsky of Rutkowsky Pottery!!! I’m SO excited and honored to have these pieces in my shop. And since you know I love a multi-purpose item…of course, you can drink from these when your candle is all gone! Squeeeeee!!!!

While we, as local small business owners, understand that this infrastructure improvement is 100% necessary, it’s also true that foot traffic is down as a result of it. This is a great reminder that your local shops and restaurants need you to come see us…even when the roads are yucky and the travel inconvenient. While detours and roadwork can make a trip to your favorite shop or restaurant more time-consuming, small businesses are often hit hardest by the drop in foot traffic. Choosing to navigate the orange cones and temporarily textured pathways ensures that our downtown businesses can survive the disruption and thrive once the infrastructure improvements are complete. Your patronage is so important as it helps recirculate dollars back into the local economy.
