Happy Thursday 🌞! It’s been a while since I introduced myself and we’ve been growing around here ⭐️🙌💕 so I wanted to take a moment today to tell you a little bit about me.
My name is Dannet and I’m the owner and creator of all things Planty’tude in Burnsville, Minnesota. I love making beautiful and inspirational items to accessorize yourself, your home, and your garden. When I’m not creating something you can find me playing in my indoor jungle of over 200 houseplants.
I started indoor gardening and creating as a form of therapy after I was diagnosed with several aggressive autoimmune disorders which severely impacted my eyes and health. At the time I thought I was given a death sentence and quite possibly becoming blind. Many rounds of chemo, many rounds of meds, 37 surgeries, many rounds of PT, and many many plants later, the real work began of creating a life worth living with my second chance to live. My eyes are currently paralyzed in most directions and I still have double vision, some days are still harder than others, however I don’t let that stop me from creating the world I want to see! Creating has always been a dream of mine which I thought was impossible given the trajectory of my life and some days it’s a still a little wild that I’m living it. Creating brings me so much happiness and joy which we hope you feel when you buy or receive our products, truly homemade with love 💚.
