These are the days 🤍 Today after working an 11 hour shift without sitting one time, my feet were throbbing, my mental health tanked, and the stress I’m feeling caught up to me in a really bad way. While I was grabbing our sidewalk sign and locking the front door, I looked over and saw the most beautiful lighting. In my store. A store I have been dreaming about since I was in elementary school. So while my stress is at its peak right now, and while small businesses are really struggling, and while I have every right to break down and cry, I stopped to take it all in. All my blood, sweat, money, and tears is right here and I’m currently living a dream better than I ever imagined. So today I’m choosing joy and gratitude and progress over perfection because wow, would nine year old Amanda be so proud.
