Trying to figure out what to do for Valentine’s Day and you don’t want to leave town. As a board member of the Yancey County Chamber of Commerce I’d like to invite you to support local businesses by dining and shopping locally! Bad weather has not been kind to our local businesses. They need your support and there is no better place to eat and shop than with our local businesses!

The Sweet Heart Stroll is happening on Main Street Saturday from 4-8. Bring your receipt from any business in the county showing you spent $20 or more to the Chamber of Commerce and you will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket!

You can purchase anything all day on Friday or anytime on Saturday and it counts. Receipts must be at the Chamber by 4:59 pm on Monday. Drawing is at 5pm on Monday.

Several businesses are also offering drawings for gift baskets at their stores. Ask them what their requirements are for entry into their drawing.

It will be awesome to see the community rally around our businesses and unless you are not a fun person, you should have a great time! ❤️
